"Miposhka may end his career" — Collapse talks about the future of Team Spirit's captain

Team Spirit offlaner Magomed Collapse Khalilov spoke with Maurice KheZu Gutmann, sharing his thoughts on Yaroslav Miposhka Naydyonov leaving the team’s active roster. According to Collapse, the club had known in advance about the captain’s decision to take a break.

“It was his decision to leave. Long before TI, he said it would be his last year because he needed a break. This year, Yatoro and I took time off, and Yarik needed one too. He’s been playing non-stop for about five years. I thought he’d take a break with us, but he stayed.

He had to play with new players, and at first, it was difficult — even exhausting. When Yatoro and I returned, he said, ‘Guys, you had your break, now it’s my turn.’ I’m not sure if he’ll come back; it depends on his choice.”

Yaroslav began his professional career in 2014 with Yellow Submarine, and two years later joined Team Empire, where he spent three successful seasons. His best achievements during that time include winning ROG MASTERS 2017 and placing 7th–8th at The International 2017.

Since December 2020, Miposhka has represented Team Spirit. Together with the team, he won two The International titles (in 2021 and 2023) and two Riyadh Masters (in 2023 and 2025). The team also claimed several other major championships. Throughout his career, the player has earned over $6,000,000 in prize money.

During Miposhka’s absence, Nikita Panto Balaganin stepped in as the team’s stand-in and took on the captain’s role.

In addition, Collapse spoke about the offlaners he follows most closely. According to him, Ammar ATF Al-Assaf and Neta 33 Shapira are the best position 3 players in Dota 2, as their gameplay offers many opportunities to learn something new.

ATF and 33 are the best offlaners to learn from. The third could be Xxs, Ace, or someone else. 33 always comes up with creative builds. He’s a smart player, and I pay close attention to his farming methods - he’s really good at it. He doesn’t create space for teammates but farms very quickly, which becomes a problem for opponents.

At the moment, Team Spirit is competing in the BLAST SLAM IV tournament. The team finished the group stage in third place, with 7 wins and 4 losses.

BLAST Slam IV will take place from 14.10.2025 to 09.11.2025 in Singapore, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Twelve teams will participate, and the event’s prize pool is $1,000,000. You can follow the tournament’s progress in the live coverage.

As CyberScore reported earlier, Miposhka and Nix discussed Team Spirit's elimination from TI14.
