Team Spirit's Full-support Yaroslav Miposhka Naidyonov talked about the match between Team Spirit and Klim Sani4, which took place within the closed qualification for DreamLeague Season 22 tournament. The match ended with the score 2:0 in Spirit's favor, which was the team's first performance since winning The International 2023 Grand Final.

Yaroslav noted that the game was not easy, but the team was able to make the necessary efforts and get an advantage on the first map.

We finished our match against Klim Sani4, we won 2:0. Not without problems, not without difficulty. We had to make a little bit of effort. But in general, the first map was completely under our control.

Miposhka admitted that his squad made mistakes on the second map, which allowed Klim Sani4 to dominate the game. But Team Spirit picked themselves up and turned the match in their favor. 

We made few mistakes. In the second, they dominated the game in the beginning, but due to our experience and confidence, we found our moments somewhere, managed to turn it around and then didn't let go. We had a pretty good peak, we played well. We used our heroes well, despite the not so good start.

At the end of the second map, Klim Sani4 made a mistake by starting a fight with Team Spirit on the top line near the roshpit and leaving their base, where Naidyonov's team had already destroyed all the buildings. While the fight was going on, Megacreeps single-handedly destroyed T4 towers and Klim Sani4's Ancient.

Team Spirit moved on through the tournament grid of the closed qualification for DreamLeague Season 22. The next encounter for the team will be the Team Spirit - Natus Vincere match, the winner of which will advance to the main part of the tournament.

DreamLeague Season 22 is an online DreamLeague tournament series that will take place from February 25 to March 10. It will feature 16 teams, 4 of which have already been determined by the EPT table, these are: Xtreme Gaming, Gaimin Gladiators, BetBoom Team and Team Liquid, the rest of the participants will be known after the end of the closed qualification. At the tournament will be played 1 million dollars and 18550 EPT rating points.
