Team Spirit Dota 2 roster manager Dmitry Korb3n Belov confirmed that his team will play at ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023 with standin. He also does not rule out the possibility that several players will take a vacation. The information was taken from Korb3n's recent stream broadcast on Twitch.
"I can say this, one of the players will take a vacation until January - that's for sure already. I won't say who it will be, relax. I just don't even know if it's okay to say or not. Naturally, we will play with a substitute. The question is how many substitutes there will be".
On the importance of tournaments from ESL:
"You see, what's the trick, ESL is Riyadh. Accordingly, tournaments from ESL and DreamLeague are also Riyadh. And if you don't play them, you don't get points. No other tournaments absolutely give you points for the Riyadh invitational."
Team Spirit are the two-time champions of The International and have received an invte to ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023. The tournament is scheduled to take place from December 11-17 in Malaysia, with a prize pool of $1 million.
