Ex-LGD Gaming players stated on their stream that they rejected the offer to return due to low financial conditions

Former professional players Lu Somnus Yao, Yang Chalice Shenyi, and Xu fy Linsen discussed the possibility of reuniting the legendary LGD Gaming roster from 2018.

During a stream, they were asked whether they would return for 100,000 yuan (~$14,000) per month, but fy and Chalice dismissed the offer, stating that the amount was too low and that they had earned more in Royal Never Give Up.

Back in 2018–2019, this LGD Gaming roster achieved significant success, winning EPICENTER XL 2018 and MDL Changsha Major 2018, and reaching the The International 2018 grand final. However, frequent roster changes led to the team’s dissolution in 2020.

Currently, LGD Gaming is no longer active in professional Dota 2. Somnus, Chalice, and fy have formally retired but still occasionally compete in show matches. Ame is part of Yakult’s Brothers, while xNova plays for OG.

CyberScore previously reported on rumors about the formation of a new Xtreme Gaming roster, which will include Ame and XinQ.
