Kuku on Patch 7.39: "I think it’s all about the carry nerf"
Filipino esports player Carlo Kuku Palad gave an interview after Flipster Talon’s victory over Gaimin Gladiators at DreamLeague Season 26. He shared his thoughts on Patch 7.39, discussed the current state of Nature’s Prophet as a support, and commented on the match against GG.
According to Kuku, Nature’s Prophet fits the meta perfectly thanks to his teleport ability, which makes him especially strong as a support.
I’m really happy they buffed him as a support. A hard support player constantly needs to teleport, and Nature’s Prophet has a free teleport. So I’m very happy
Additionally, Carlo believes that the patch significantly weakened carry heroes, and teams will have to rethink their hero pool.
I think it’s all about the carry nerf. We might still see Morphling and Terrorblade, but I don’t think they’re the strongest right now. We’re trying to adapt to new heroes like Kunkka
Speaking about the victory over Gaimin Gladiators, Kuku admitted that Flipster Talon was prepared for their playstyle. However, he sees PARIVISION as the real favorite.
I think PARIVISION are too strong right now. I don’t know how we’ll beat them in the future. But against Gaimin Gladiators, we knew what to do. They still play around Quinn, so we slightly adapted Mikoto’s heroes
DreamLeague Season 26 takes place from 19.05.2025 to 01.06.2025 online. Sixteen teams will raffle off a prize pool of $1,000,000. You can follow the competition in the report.
