Korb3n shared his thoughts on the Dota 2 x Monster Hunter crossover
Team Spirit manager Dmitry Korb3n Belov shared what he believes is lacking in the new Dota 2 event. In his opinion, a PvE event and a more detailed reward system would be a much better.
"You know what's lacking [in the Dota 2 main menu]? I'd like to see some kind of map so that there's progression across the map. <...>
There is “Hunter Rank,” but I want more interactivity. Considering that they made Monster Hunter, which was a game about fighting healthy and scary bosses, it would be nice to have a PvE event so that you could fight these bosses with your friends.
It shouldn't be too difficult to do for five players and add a couple of new abilities. It would be possible to add goodies or something else based on the number of attempts on the boss."
Recall that shortly after the release of the crossover with Monster Hunter, dataminers found a mention of the possible name of the next event in Dota 2 — Dark Carnival. In addition, a way has been discovered to launch a mode in which previously found boss models based on Treant Protector come to life. Valve probably did not add the new mode to the game in the recent update, as the event is being prepared for the New Year holidays.
As CyberScore reported earlier, Nix explained how to bring back the old online in Dota 2.
