Virtus.pro carry Illya Kiritych Ulyanov shared his thoughts on the popularity of Luna and Mirana in the core position in official games and pub matches. The player shared his insights during a stream on his personal Twitch channel.

Luna — is meta right now because she just has really strong late-game talents. She scales fast and has become very strong in lane because you now have built-in passive damage. You just skill Lucent Beam and the passive Moon Glaives, and at level six, you take Eclipse. You’re super strong in lane, and there's also the aspect where each Lucent Beam gives damage — just insane DPS numbers.

And Mirana is strong. She just has strong talents and an ultimate. In the late game, she can outplay almost any carry under her ult. It’s nearly impossible to outfight her.

Luna and Mirana have become two of the most in-demand heroes at The International 2024. During the Road to The International stage, Mirana took first place among heroes with the highest win rate in 30+ games with a 62.2% win rate. Luna achieved a 68% win rate across 25 games played on her.
