Kalmychata become champions of European Pro League 33 with new roster
In the grand final of European Pro League 33, Kalmychata’s revamped roster defeated Most Wanted 3:2 to become tournament champions. Notably, the team did not lose a single match throughout the event, finishing the group stage with five wins before confidently advancing through the upper bracket. This marked the club’s second championship in this tournament series.
The teams had previously met in the upper bracket final, where the squad also secured a 2:0 victory. In head-to-head meetings against Most Wanted, this became the club’s seventh win with just one loss.
It is worth noting that a month and a half ago, offlaner Andrey Ankou Kuznetsov announced the disbandment of Kalmychata’s roster. However, just a week later the club introduced a new five-man roster, which failed at European Pro League 32. As a result, the roster was reshuffled once again ahead of the next tournament. Most Wanted went on to win that event.
