Invictus Gaming is retiring from the Dota 2 discipline
The esports organization Invictus Gaming has temporarily suspended its activity in the Dota 2 discipline. The information was posted on the club's official Weibo account.
The representatives did not specify the reasons behind this decision but noted that the club would temporarily go inactive this season. Additionally, the management expressed gratitude to all fans and partners who supported the organization over the past 13 years.
Due to various factors and after thorough consideration by the club, the iG.DOTA2 division will temporarily become inactive this season. Thank you to everyone who believed in us, thank you to everyone who waited for us, thank you to everyone who fought alongside us, and thank you to everyone who chose to support us until the end
Invictus Gaming joined Dota 2 in August 2011. Over this time, the club won several major tournaments and became the champion of The International 2012. The organization has only officially suspended its activity now but ceased competing on the professional scene immediately after the conclusion of PGL Wallachia Season 2.
