Yellow Submarine has changed its coach

Former professional player and Team Spirit streamer, Ilya Illidan Pivcaev, has become a coach for Yellow Submarine. He announced this on his Telegram channel.

“Hello everyone! Starting today, I’ve begun working with Yellow Submarine as a coach. So, there will still be streams, but less frequently.”

Illidan replaced Vasily AfterLife Shishkin, who had been working with the team since June of this year.

Illidan began his professional career in 2013 and is best known for his performances with Virtus.pro, with whom he won DreamLeague Season 3, The Defense Season 3, and Esportal Dota 2 League. As a coach, Pivcaev worked with VGJ.Storm at The International 2018, where the club finished in 7th-8th place, and in 2019 with Chaos at DOTA Summit 11, where the team became a finalist. In 2020, Ilya suspended his professional activities.

The next tournament for Yellow Submarine will be CIS Battle 3, where the team will begin competing on November 5. The competition will take place online from 03.11.2025 to 14.11.2025. Nine teams will compete for a prize pool of $15,000.
