HYDRA has disbanded
Kyrgyz organization HYDRA completely disbanded the squad, but promised to return with a new strength, roster and strategy. The management also thanked the former players for their professionalism and commitment.
HYDRA's statement on the decision to disband the squad:
"With complicated feelings, we want to announce a new phase for our organization - the disbanding of the current Dota 2 roster. This decision was made after much discussion and thought, and it is aimed at fundamentally renewing and reorganizing the team. At the new stage of our history we will be looking for new faces that will help us reach new heights in the world of cybersport.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to our players. Thank you for your professionalism, dedication and belief that Hydra can become something more than just a set of individual players.
We promise that we will be back soon with renewed vigor, a new roster and a new strategy."
HYDRA recently competed at the qualification for The International 12 among teams from Eastern Europe. There it finished in 4th place, lost to NAVI and dropped out. Also HYDRA this season was remembered for the scandal around their semi support, Anatoly Lefitan Krupnov with cheats, 322 and match-fixing.
