History

Hydra is the first cyber sports club from Kyrgyzstan, which in November 2021 gathered a mono-national Dota 2 squad before the start of the new DPC season 2021-2022.

Hydra was represented by the strongest Kyrgyz players - dream`, Askold, Blizzy, Zayac and Le don. The first tournament for the team was FRAG Season 7, which it won easily. At Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season 5 Hydra showed a confident game - in the group stage it took the third place (lost only to Nemiga Gaming, HellRaisers and Creepwave). In the playoffs the Kyrgyz team first defeated HellRaisers, but then lost to them in the final of the lower net with the score 0:2, taking the third place in the tournament.

At the qualifiers for the DPC EEU 2021/22 Tour 1: Division II Hydra qualified from the second open qualification. In the regular season, she showed a high level of play (losing only to CIS Rejects and V-Gaming), but lost to CIS Rejects and Winstrike Team in the replay for the two slots to Division I. In parallel, Hydra participated in Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season 6, where after finishing second in the group stage (where they again lost only to CIS Rejects and V-Gaming), they did not win a single match in the playoffs. At Dota 2 Champions League 2022 Season 7 Hydra also performed well in the group stage, but was defeated by Entity Gaming and V-Gaming in the final stage.

  • In 2022 and 2023, the team tried to qualify for the most important tournament for all professional players - The International, but failed every time.

In the winter of 2024 Hydra took part in the qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 and DreamLeague Season 22, where they failed completely, after which the roster was completely disbanded. At the qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 23 the team played with the following roster: mitrofanushka, nattynarwhal_, DkFogas, Danial and fsd. And at the qualifications for Elite League Season 2 and Riyadh Masters 2024 - this lineup: mitrofanushka, Volshebnick, Dominic, Wein, fsd.

In June 2024 Hydra officially unveiled a new roster that included Bayram mitrofanushka Piriev, Andrey Volshebnik Pekur, Ivan Dominic Zharkov, Dilshodjon DR.bum Tazhibaev, Evgeny fsd Pogrebeshny and Stanislav 633 Glushan as coach.
