Former Empire and Gambit player admits to participating in match-fixing and 322

Former Team Empire, HellRaisers and Gambit Esports player Arslan xannii Shadjanov admitted that he participated in match-fixing while representing Empire. From his words, only 2 games he took part in were unfair: against YNT during D2CL Season 12 and against HYDRA during the DPC season. He was contacted by Aleksander Sensibility Filatov, who had been blackmailing him for a long time and repeatedly offered to keep throwing games.

"I made a deal with Sensibility, who wrote to me back in NoMonkeyBussiness, to throw two games: against YNT on D2CL Season 12 and HYDRA on DPC. He promised to pay $4,500 for three maps, and I agreed. At that point, Morph already had a video about this man. Everyone knew he was a person not to be messed with, but somehow that didn't stop me from doing it. I was emotional, like a kid, I wasn't thinking about the team or the consequences."

xannii received about $2,000 for throwing two games. He ended up just wasting them, as he didn't have a steady income:

"I received $2,000 from Sensibility a small sum by the standards of the 322-scene. I have just wasted this money, as I got my first paycheck in one and a half years and didn't think about anything else at that time. After that I stopped playing Dota for about 2 months and had no intention of coming back."

xannii joined HF Esports at the end of 2022 and managed to even play 3 tournaments for the club. What's also interesting is that Sensibility kept blackmailing xannii in terms of telling him about his match-fixing. HF even paid him $2,000 for his silence.

"The HF organization was forced to pay Sensibility $2,000 for his silence. By doing so, the conflict was resolved."

xannii emphasizes that he has only thrown two games for Team Empire and shouldn't be blamed for something that he didn't do:

"I definitely don't want to be involved in something I'm not guilty of. And if I'm going to be judged, it's for something I'm really guilty of. I know that i have throwm only two games for Empire, which I'm willing to be punished and judged for. The rest of the stuff I had nothing to do with. I'd rather know that I don't get picked up by teams because I'm a bad player than think that everyone thinks I'm a 322- freak. And I'd rather be banned for a cause, but I'd rather be with a clear conscience – I'm ready for that."

This season xannii played for IVY. 4 months ago he even participated in DPC-league. He has also changed nicknames several times, one of which is Retrograde. It will be interesting to watch Valve's decision, as this is the player's admission of participating in match-fixing even during the Dota Pro Circuit league.

As Cyberscore previously reported, Gleb Funn1k Lipatnikov accused Daniil Dendi Ishutin and B8 Esports of patricipating in 322 games.
