The former Nouns roster has completely disbanded
The former Nouns roster, which had recently been competing under the tag Atlantic City, has completely disbanded. This was announced by the team captain Tal Fly Aizik on his personal Twitter account.
Team ex-nouns / Atlantic city is no more. It's a sad way to end our journey together, but ultimately this is for the best.
We've had glimmers of greatness throughout the year, but were never able to capitalize and make it consistent which is truly the goal of a top dota team
Atlantic City's last match took place in the grand final of the closed qualifiers for ESL One Bangkok 2024 in the North America region, where they advanced through the upper bracket. The team faced Shopify Rebellion in the final but was unable to overcome their opponents, losing the series 0-3. Fly highlighted this performance, noting that recent events had drained the team's energy and determination to continue competing.
Our last series was not a good reflection of each of our individual potential. Recent tournament results compounded with the recent loss of org ended up in low morale and confidence, and we did not put up a fight. A sad way to close the chapter for this roster
Former Atlantic City roster:
- Yuma Yuma Langlet
- Philipp Copy Buhler
- Rodrigo Lelis Lelis Santos
- Nicolas Gunnar Lopez
- Tal Fly Aizik
To recap, on November 1, the esports organization Nouns Esports disbanded its Dota 2 roster and announced its withdrawal from the discipline, citing the lack of a suitable sponsor as the reason.
Earlier, CyberScore.live reported that the former Nouns roster was looking for a new organization.
