ESL One Birmingham 2024 qualifiers have been announced

Tournament operator ESL has started collecting applications for the ESL One Birmingham 2024 open qualifiers and announced the dates of these matches. It has to be noted that Eastern Europe is the only region that received two slots for the tournament, with the rest getting one slot each.

Direct Invites

Top 4 teams in the EPT rankings have received direct invites:

• Gaimin Gladiators
• BetBoom Team
• Xtreme Gaming
• Team Liquid

Eastern Europe (EEU)

• Open qualifiers will be held from January 22 to 25 with three slots at stake.
• Closed qualifiers will be played from January 26 to 30 with two slots at stake.

Western Europe (WEU)

• Open qualifiers will take place from January 22 to 25 (3 slots).
• Closed qualifiers will be held from January 26 to 30 (1 slot).

China

• Open qualifiers will be played from January 22 to 25 (4 slots).
• Closed qualifiers will take place from January 26 to 30 (1 slot).

North America (NA)

• Open qualifiers from January 22 to 25 (5 slots).
• Closed qualifiers from January 26 to January 30 (1 slot).

South America (SA)

• Open qualifiers will take place from January 22 to 25 (5 slots).
• Closed qualifiers will be held from January 26 to 30 (1 slot).

Southeast Asia (SEA)

• Open qualifiers - from January 22 to 25 (4 slots).
• Closed qualifiers - from January 26 to 30 (1 slot).

Middle East and North Africa (MENA)

• Open qualifiers will take place from January 22 to 25 (6 slots).
• Closed qualifiers will be held from January 26 to 30 (1 slot).

ESL One Birmingham 2024 is a LAN tournament that will be held in the British city of Birmingham from April 22 to 28. 12 teams will take part in the event. Gaimin Gladiators, BetBoom Team, Xtreme Gaming and Team Liquid have received direct invitations. The remaining 8 participants will be determined by the results of closed qualifiers. The tournament's prize fund is $1 million and 26 640 EPT rating points.
