ESL has revised the qualification dates for its tournaments

The organizers of ESL tournaments have announced changes to the qualification schedule for their major Dota 2 events. The reason was the date conflict between DreamLeague and ESL One 2026, which could have caused issues for teams and players.

The schedule has now been updated to ensure more convenient participation in each event and to give teams the opportunity to focus on preparation.

Updated schedule

DreamLeague Season 27

• Open Qualifier 1: from 20.09.2025 to 21.09.2025;

• Open Qualifier 2: from 22.09.2025 to 23.09.2025;

• Closed Qualifier: from 24.09.2025 to 26.09.2025.

DreamLeague Season 28

• Open Qualifier 1: from 05.01.2026 to 06.01.2026;

• Open Qualifier 2: from 07.01.2026 to 08.01.2026;

• Closed Qualifier: from 09.01.2026 to 11.01.2026.

ESL One EU 2026

• Open Qualifier 1: from 12.01.2026 to 13.01.2026;

• Open Qualifier 2: from 14.01.2026 to 15.01.2026;

• Closed Qualifier: from 16.01.2026 to 20.01.2026.
