The Chinese esports organization EHOME has announced its departure from the professional Dota 2 scene amid a scandal that has affected all the players of the current roster. The team's official statement appeared on Weibo.

First, the Dota 2 developers issued bans to mks- (lifetime), Night, Salad and Lww (two-year) and xiaoyu (one-year), and then suspended EHOME from participating in the DPC 2023 Tour 2 for China. After that, the leadership was forced to make such a difficult decision.

The farewell letter explains that the organization faced not only gaming, but also financial difficulties. The cooperation agreement signed in 2020 with LGD Gaming and Blade Technology was terminated in 2022, and a new EHOME partner could not be found. The exclusion from the DPC league was the last and decisive blow to the team.

Recall that the Chinese organization was founded in 2004. During its existence, it has managed to earn more than $4 million in prize money.

As CyberScore reported, in addition to EHOME, another team that was accused of cheating, Knights, also ceased to exist.

Their places in the first division of DPC 2023 for China will be taken by Outsiders from CN and Aster.Aries. The start of the spring tour in the region is scheduled for March 12.
