History

Aster.Aries is a Chinese Dota 2 team. The youth squad of Team Aster. created in October 2019 and plays in local leagues and online championships.

The debut tournament for the squad of little-known players from the Middle Kingdom was the China Dota2 Development League S2. In 2020 Aster.Aries with Rico and YuNnnnnnnnnN participated in dash-3 tournaments and various qualifications, but almost always stopped at the early stages. The main successes of that squad were reaching the finals of ESL One Thailand 2020: Asia and OMEGA League: Asia Divine Division.

For the new Dota Pro Circuit 2021 season, the club seriously revamped the Aster.Aries roster, with only midranger phoenix and offlayer 生死 remaining, and three new players. In the spring, the team managed to win the open qualifiers and entered the second division of the local DPC league, where they had a decent season and finished in the top 3. In qualifying for The International 2021, the team finished in 5th-6th place.

Before the new season, Team Aster's youth roster was supplemented by two core players, RedPanda and White丶Album. In the opposite direction went Siamese.C, who is now playing in the first division. Publix star TK was invited to the fourth position, and Cheng 86 Yuhan became the coach of Aster.Aries.

In practice, it turned out that the replacements seriously weakened the roster: the revamped team finished only fifth at DPC CN 2021/22 Tour 1: Division II, and then failed at the Intel World Open Beijing and Huya Dota2 Winter Invitational 2021. However, there were no changes to the lineup before the DPC season continues.
