Evil Geniuses' manager announces the disbandment of the Dota 2 roster

Former Evil Geniuses manager Vitoria Guashi Otero has announced the disbanding of the current EG roster. She also added that the team is unlikely to recruit a new roster. This could mean a complete withdrawal of the club from the discipline. The information about this was published by the manager on her Twitter.

I'm personally not sure if EG will have a Dota 2 roster this year but we are all parting ways with the org and seeking a new future. Today many layoffs happened at EG and its very unlikely that they acquire a new roster.

At this past The International 2023, the team finished 13-16th, crashing out of the tournament in the first round of the lower grid playoffs, and earned $45,300 from the prize pool
