The first finalist of PGL Wallachia Season 6 has been determined

In the upper bracket final of the PGL Wallachia Season 6 playoffs, Team Spirit defeated Team Liquid 2:1 and became the first team to reach the grand final. Liquid will continue in the lower bracket, where they will face the winner of the MOUZ vs BetBoom Team series.

The first map was fully controlled by Team Liquid: by the 31st minute, they had a gold advantage of 28,000, while Team Spirit managed only 9 kills against 32 from Liquid. On the second map, Ilya Yatoro Mulyarchuk showcased his signature Morphling, and within 29 minutes Spirit equalized, bringing the series to a decisive third map.

On the final map, the “dragons” showed confidence already at the pick stage, taking Gyrocopter as their first carry pick. The game remained even until the 35th minute, but a few successful fights allowed Spirit to gain an advantage they held until the end. Yatoro finished the map with 14 kills and only 1 death, leading his team to victory.

Thus, Team Spirit are the first grand finalists and will wait for their opponent in the championship match tomorrow. Team Liquid drop to the lower bracket for another chance to fight back.

Support and captain of Team Spirit, Nikita Panto Balaganin, commented on his team reaching the grand final:

On the first map, they had a better draft. Naga Siren and Underlord were a problem, which made fighting difficult for us. On the second map, we had the last pick and chose Morphling for Ilya, who carried us. On the third map, drafts were equal, but we were better in micro-moments, finding kills under smokes, which they didn’t, and that’s how we managed to win. Now we are looking forward to the grand final.

Recall that a month and a half ago Team Liquid refreshed their roster, signing former Gaimin Gladiators players – Eric tOfu Engel and Markus Ace Hoelgaard. At the same time, Team Spirit also made a change, as Yaroslav Miposhka Naidenov took a break from his career, and his spot was filled by Panto, who assumed the role of team captain.

PGL Wallachia Season 6 takes place from 15.11.2025 to 23.11.2025 in Bucharest, Romania. 16 teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000. You can follow the tournament in detail in the report.
