“My career is over”, — former Virtus.pro player
Former Virtus.pro player Nikita Daxak Kuzmin said that he is not sure whether he will be able to find a new team due to strained relations with most representatives of the professional scene. He shared this during a Twitch stream.
Considering that I’ve fallen out with pretty much everyone on this planet and played terribly at the last tournament, it’s unlikely anyone will pick me up. It’s frustrating that I played badly, but I don’t care about anything else. My career is over, for better or worse. It’s time to slowly get back to streaming.
Daxak also noted that he is considering a coaching role, but only in a limited format.
It would be interesting to coach someone, but only part-time. If I coach full-time, I crush people. I have very strong knowledge of Dota 2, but to pass it on properly, it has to be done either through someone else or in small amounts.

It is worth recalling that on November 7, Daxak left Virtus.pro - the contract with the player was not extended by mutual agreement of the parties. He became a free agent after seven months with the team, during which Virtus.pro won several qualifiers but failed to achieve strong results. His spot on the roster was taken by Jonas SabeRLight- Volek.
After leaving the team, Kuzmin took a break from competition and said that he plans to start working with a psychologist to improve his emotional state.
Daxak began his professional career in 2016, but his first Tier-1 team was Gambit Esports, which he joined in 2017. It was with this roster that he achieved his greatest success: second-place finishes at StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 1, The Bucharest Minor and ESL One Katowice 2019, victories at several WePlay Dota tournaments in 2019, as well as fourth place at ESL One Birmingham 2019.
It is also worth noting that Nikita has coaching experience with PSG Quest. He worked with the team at The International 2023 and DreamLeague Season 21, but the squad failed to achieve notable results and left the Dota 2 scene in 2024. Over his career, Daxak has earned more than $200,000 in prize money, excluding team salaries.
Earlier, Cyberscore reported that Team Spirit manager Dmitry Korb3n Belov took part in forming the Team Yandex roster.
