Team Liquid's support Samuel 'Boxi' Swan has left Peru, where The Lima Major 2023 is taking place, due to medical emergency. The coach of the Western European team, William 'Blitz' Lee, said that the esportsman flew home.

Boxi made a notable contribution to Liquid's success at the tournament. He helped the team to 18 wins in 20 maps which ensured them a place in the upper bracket final and a top-three finish. From the match against Gaimin Gladiators until the end of the tournament, he will be replaced by Liquid's analyst Mathis 'Jabbz' Friezel. Renowned streamer Janne 'Gorgc' Stefanovski revealed that Jabbz reached the 8k MMR in ranked games while playing mostly as a support.

The Lima Major 2023 has a prize pool $500,000 and 1,900 DPC points and takes place from February 22 to March 5. Follow the link to view the results of already played tournament matches.
