BLAST Slam V — venue and first invited teams announced

Tournament operator BLAST has revealed the venue for BLAST Slam V. The championship will be held in Chengdu, China.

The tournament will begin on November 25, with the playoffs taking place on December 5-7 at the Wuliangye Chengdu Performing Arts Centre, which can accommodate 12,000 spectators. In addition, the first invited participants of the competition have been announced: Team Spirit, PARIVISION, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Tundra Esports, and Heroic.

A total of 12 teams will compete in the tournament — two more teams will receive direct invites, and the remaining four slots will go to the winners of the regional qualifiers. The prize pool for the tournament will be $1,000,000.

As previously reported by CyberScore, the Esports Nations Cup 2026 has been announced — a championship for national teams with a prize pool of $70,000,000.
