Dota 2 players revealed among nominees for PC Player of the Decade at Esports Awards

The organizers of the Esports Awards have announced their upcoming 10th anniversary ceremony. Unlike previous years where the award was based on annual performance, this year the focus will be on impact and achievements over the entire decade. One of the main highlights will be the category “PC Player of the Decade.”

Nominees for Esports Awards 2025 – PC Player of the Decade:

• Lee Faker Sang-hyeok – League of Legends;
• Oleksandr s1mple Kostyliev – CS:GO;
• Johan n0tail Sundstein – Dota 2;
• Mathieu ZywOo Herbaut – CS:GO;
• Erick aspas Santos – VALORANT;
• Rasmus Caps Winther – League of Legends;
• Marcelo coldzera David – CS:GO;
• Yaroslav Miposhka Naidenov – Dota 2;
• Michał Nisha Jankowski – Dota 2.

The Esports Awards, held annually since 2016, celebrates outstanding players, teams, event organizers, streamers, and other figures in the esports industry. Past winners of the "Best PC Player" title include coldzera, Miracle-, Bugha, and Nisha. Faker has won the award twice, while s1mple has taken it home three times. Fans can cast their votes until August 11 on the official awards website.
