Best and worst laners of the pro scene — analyst Noxville has published statistics
Analyst Ben Noxville Stenhuisen has published new laning metrics for the 2025/2026 season. The study is based on a range of indicators, including hero damage by the 10-minute mark, and categorizes lane outcomes into five tiers — from “excellent” to “terrible”. The data was shared on his personal X page.
The standout player in the sample is Heroic’s Santiago TaiLung Aguero Gustavo. Among midlaners with more than 50 matches played, he shows one of the best damage balances, dealing significantly more than he takes. In nearly half of his games (49.5%), he leaves the lane with an advantage, while his rate of failed lanes is just 12.4% — one of the lowest in the dataset.

The opposite picture is shown by Denis Larl Sigitov from Team Spirit. According to the metrics, he is among the most inconsistent midlaners: more than 40% of his lanes are rated as “poor” or “terrible”. This means he more often finds himself in losing or difficult situations during the laning stage.
Additional graphs confirm the gap in efficiency: TaiLung consistently ranks among the leaders in damage at the 10-minute mark, while Larl shows more average values. This suggests that his issues are not related to individual mechanics, but rather to lane execution and decision-making.

Among other strong laners, the analyst highlights Rafli Mikoto Fathur, Danil gpK Skutin, Michal Nisha Jankowski, and Syed Sumail SumaiL Hassan. All of them show a high percentage of won lanes with a low rate of failures.
At the same time, more balanced but less dominant results are shown by Vladimir No[o]ne Minenko and Bozhidar bzm Bogdanov.
Noxville also singled out Team Falcons offlaner Ammar ATF Assaf. He is the only player in his role with a positive net worth difference at the 10-minute mark. Moreover, ATF is part of a narrow group of players with a level advantage, where he posts the best result.
At the moment, the online tournament PREMIER SERIES is taking place, running from 01.04.2026 to 11.04.2026. Twelve teams are competing for a $100,000 prize pool.
Earlier, Cyberscore reported that a new balance patch 7.41b was released in Dota 2.
