Former Avulus players form a new roster

The roster was spotted on Faceit under the name Team Tea. The core of the team consists of former Avulus players, led by Akbar SoNNeikO Butaev, who went inactive at the end of April. The lineup also includes Sakis dEsire Kartsampas and Vitaliy Worick Brezgin.

Recall that Avulus disbanded their roster as the team failed to achieve high results this year, with their best finish being 8th place at ESL One Raleigh 2025.

The new team also features Kyialbek dream Tairov, who previously played for Mouz as a carry, but his performances were unsuccessful, and many media personalities noted his unreadiness for the tier-1 scene.

The final member of the roster is Alexander Cloud Zakharov. He played for over a year with 1WIN Team, where he became champion of CCT Dota 2 Series 5 and took 2nd place at Elite League Season 2. Zakharov was also part of Team Secret during Clement Puppey Ivanov’s attempt to build a new roster around his tag, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful.

At the moment, it is unknown which tournament will be Team Tea’s first, but most likely it will be the open qualifiers for FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 and DreamLeague Season 27.
