AVULUS responded to Team Falcons' statement about SoNNeikO's disqualification from PGL Wallachia Season 2

AVULUS has officially commented for the first time on the conflict between team captain Akbar SoNNeikO Butaev and Team Falcons offlaner Ammar ATF al-Assaf at the PGL Wallachia Season 2.

AVULUS stated that it has taken measures regarding SoNNeiKo and believes that the conflict should be resolved. The team upholds the principles of sportsmanship and stands against any form of aggression, the organization concluded.

The AVULUS team expresses regret over the recent incident involving our player SoNNeikO.

AVULUS adheres to the principles of fair play and respectful behavior. We do not support any forms of aggression, whether physical or verbal, under any circumstances.

We have accepted the punishment imposed by PGL and believe that the incident should be settled. Competitions, especially at this level, demand mutual respect between players, and we hope that all participants will adhere to these principles moving forward.

AVULUS continues to support its player and remains true to its values, placing respect and sportsmanship at the forefront.

As a reminder, yesterday at the PGL Wallachia Season 2 tournament, a conflict occurred between players SoNNeiKo and ATF: the AVULUS player approached a Falcons player in the hotel lobby before the match between the teams and threatened physical violence. In response to this, PGL penalized AVULUS with a 110-second draft penalty.

Team Falcons deemed this punishment insufficient, and the organization demanded the disqualification of SoNNeiKo from the tournament. If the demand is not met, Falcons may consider voluntarily withdrawing from the tournament.

PGL Wallachia Season 2 is taking place from October 4 to 13. Sixteen teams are participating in the tournament. The event's prize pool amounts to $1,000,000.
