Avulus disbanded their Dota 2 roster (Updated)
Update: A little later, the organization stated that this announcement was just a joke, and the changes will be announced later.
Original news:
The organization AVULUS has announced the end of its cooperation with the current Dota 2 roster. The decision was made due to unsatisfactory results in recent months, which led the club to rebuild the team. In its official statement, the organization noted:
We started the season brightly, but failed to achieve our goals. Because of poor results in recent months, we made the tough decision to part ways with the roster. We thank the players for their work and contribution to the club’s development. Their names will forever remain a part of AVULUS history.
At the same time, the club emphasized that its plans in the discipline are not over. In the new season, AVULUS intends to assemble a refreshed roster and return to competition at a high level.
Among the club’s achievements in 2024 are victories at RES Regional Champions, CCT Dota 2 Series 3, as well as a fifth-place finish at ESL One Bangkok 2024. In 2025, however, the team failed to secure top positions at major tournaments.
