"Lorenof will go down in Dota history": on the substitution in Aurora Gaming
Former 1win Team coach Timur Ahilles Kulmukhambetov stated that Artem lorenof Melnyk performance as part of Aurora Gaming has already become historic.
He also added that after the conclusion of the current DreamLeague Season 28 tournament, Aurora plans to bring Rafli Mikoto Fathur back into the roster. According to Kulmukhambetov, the change could affect the team’s pace and negatively impact future results if they turn out to be unsatisfactory.
Lorenof played ranked matches, scrims, and official games, while Mikoto mostly played Asian pubs. The team’s hero pool and synergy were built around lorenof. As soon as the team starts losing, the simplest solution will be found - Mikoto is to blame. In the end, lorenof will go down in history as the most successful stand-in in Dota history.

Recall that lorenof temporarily joined Aurora Gaming on January 19 as a substitute for Mikoto, while he is handling his visa process. With Melnyk, the team won FISSURE Universe: Episode 8 and DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3, and is also continuing its run at DreamLeague Season 28, where it currently sits in first place in the group without dropping a single match.
In addition, the team set a Dota 2 world record for the longest winstreak - 26 matches in a row. The only team to stop the winning run was PARIVISION, with whom Aurora played to a draw today.
It should be noted that lorenof will play only the group stage of the tournament with the team, while Mikoto will return to the roster for the playoffs. At the next event, PGL Wallachia Season 7, Artem Melnyk will play as a stand-in for Team Falcons, as Stanislav Malr1ne Potorak will miss the championship due to visa issues.
