What is Semi support?

A support, or "position four", also known as a semi-support, is a hero who plays a helping role in the team. Usually positioned in the offlane alongside the offlaner, they place wards, provide crowd control, heal allies, and perform other supportive tasks. The position four support sacrifices farm for the team's benefit and moves around the map more often than a full support, assisting the midlaner and contributing across the map. The term "support" comes from the English word support, while "semi-" indicates a hybrid role between a core and a support.
