What is Report?

Report
A report is a complaint about a player in Dota 2. Reports are used to notify the system about toxic behavior, feeding, ruining, cheating, or smurfing.
For each game, a user who violates the rules can be reported once in each category. The system reviews these complaints, and repeated violations can lead to penalties: low priority matchmaking, communication bans, or, in severe cases, account suspension.
It's important to use reports honestly and appropriately — false reports are not punishable, but abuse of the system reduces its overall effectiveness.
