Refresh
Refresh is an effect that resets all abilities and active items of a hero. It is implemented through Refresher Orb and the one time use Refresher Shard, which drops after Roshan's third death if killed by the Dire side, and is guaranteed to appear after every subsequent death. Refresher Shard also disappears after use, shares cooldown with Refresher Orb, and can be transferred to allies or sold for gold.
A similar reset effect is found in some heroes’ abilities. For example, the ultimate ability of Tinker, called Rearm, instantly refreshes the cooldown of his spells, but does not affect items.
