Physical damage
Physical damage is a type of damage in Dota 2 dealt through auto-attacks or physical abilities that do not rely on magical power. It is determined by a hero’s strength and damage modifiers such as critical hits or bonuses from items and auras.
Physical damage can be reduced by the target’s armor. Armor lowers the amount of damage taken from physical attacks, whereas magic and other types of damage are unaffected by armor. Physical damage is the primary damage source for most carry heroes and those focused on auto-attacks.
