Offline mode
Offline mode is a game mode in Dota 2 where the player is not connected to game servers. It is used for practice, testing heroes, items, and mechanics without the presence of other players. Players can start a solo match with bots or without any opponents.
Offline mode does not affect matchmaking rating and does not require an internet connection after necessary files are loaded. However, online features such as match spectating, ranked play, and access to cosmetic items from the Steam inventory are unavailable in this mode.
