CD
Cooldown (CD) is the time required before a spell or item can be used again after activation. Cooldown can be reduced through specific items, runes, talents, and upgrades such as Aghanim’s Scepter or Shard, as well as through neutral items and hero mechanics that allow more frequent ability usage. Some heroes can reset or bypass cooldowns with their own abilities (like Refresh or Rearm). The length of a cooldown depends on the type of ability: ultimates typically have longer cooldowns, while basic abilities have shorter ones.
