Intelligence
Intelligence (or int) is one of the attributes in Dota 2. Intelligence determines a hero's maximum mana and mana regeneration. Heroes with intelligence as their primary attribute typically rely on their abilities to deal damage or assist allies. These heroes are mostly support characters or mid laners.
Each point of intelligence increases:
- Maximum mana by 12.
- Mana regeneration by 0.05.
- Magic resistance by 0.001.
- For intelligence heroes, each point of intelligence also increases their base attack damage by 1.
Huskar, who has no manapool due to his innate ability, only increases his magic resistance with intelligence. An Ogre Mage, whose intelligence is always 0, gains mana and increases its regeneration with strength.
