The esports career in Dota 2 for du began in the fall of 2023, joining the Chinese team Big brain. With this team, Zhang reached fourth place at the tournament B5vip Championship, where he earned his first prize money.

In early spring 2024, du became part of the team Go along. With this team, he succeeded in the qualifiers, making it to the Elite League: Closed Qualifiers of China and taking a top-8 position in the tournament table. After a successful performance in the qualifiers, the team received a direct invitation to the No Coffee Cup, where they managed to play only one match before the tournament was cancelled by the organizers.
