Sikle: "Valve has started working on the ranking system in Dota 2"
Valve has started working on an updated ranking system in Dota 2. This was reported by Team Spirit analyst Denis sikle Lerman on his Telegram channel.
According to his observations, the developers have made changes that were not mentioned in the recent update. Now, the confidence level in a player's rank decreases significantly faster than before—by about 1-2% per day without matches.
As a reminder, confidence in rank is displayed as a percentage on the calibration scale. It increases with each game played and decreases with prolonged inactivity. A player’s exact rank will become visible after reaching 30% confidence.

Additionally, in a recent video on the Team Spirit YouTube channel, Illya Yatoro Mulyarchuk, Yaroslav Miposhka Naidenov, and Magomed Collapse Khalilov criticized the current Dota 2 ranking system and expressed their desire for a reset. Shortly after, rumors began circulating online that Valve is indeed planning to reset ranks and bring back the seasonal system.
Earlier, CyberScore.live reported that the win rate of the Radiant side has increased in the new patch.
