Vladimir No[o]ne Minenko, a member of the Eastern European team PARIVISION, considers Nature's Prophet, Leshrac, Invoker, Puck, Storm Spirit, and Queen of Pain to be the most effective characters for the second position in the current meta.
No[o]ne also highlighted Pangolier, Primal Beast, and Ember Spirit. In addition, Minenko listed the heroes who fell out of the meta after The International 2025:
"The most notable is Beastmaster, whom everyone stopped picking or he has a very poor win rate. Then there's Earthshaker and Sand King. These three heroes have almost fallen out of favor, no one picking them. That is, they were first-pick heroes, but now they've just disappeared, and only Stas [Malr1ne] plays them. And even then, Earthshaker has zero games, as far as I know, ano one has played him at all"
