Nix on Papich: “There were dozens of people who stream-sniped him 24/7 — even when he wasn’t streaming”

Alexander Nix Levin revealed how streamer Papich, also known as EvilArthas, was forced to delete multiplayer games, including Dota 2. The content maker shared the information on the stream.

“To make sure he wouldn’t play multiplayer games, some people created a Discord server with dozens of members who stream-sniped him 24/7 — even when he wasn’t streaming. They used cheats to force him to delete the game, and eventually, they broke him. He deleted every game where he could play against other people and started playing only single-player . It’s terrible, but it’s a fact. And those guys were even spending money on it…”

Papich himself has also repeatedly explained why he stopped playing Dota 2. According to him, people ruined his games out of jealousy.

“I became super famous and popular very quickly, and haters started ruining my games. I kept saying that I was the best in the world. And it was actually true — I was the best Dota player in the world. When I started streaming, people became jealous of how well I played and began ruin my games”

EvilArthas added that starting in 2016, the quality of his matchmaking games dropped sharply due to frequent reports from haters. By 2017, the game itself began to decline in both visuals and gameplay.

“If I’m 3-0 in mid or safe lane, why can’t I just go and kill some random *** support? Why is he so strong that I can’t kill him at all? I don`t have enough DPS. Why do I have to rely on a teammate to make the right play? And what if they mess up? I don’t want to play anymore”

As a reminder, Papich moved to Dubai in July 2024 and released a series of videos on his YouTube channel called “Dubai Adventure”.

As CyberScore reported earlier, Nix named Team Spirit and BetBoom Team roster as the strongest rosters in Dota 2 history.
