Team Liquid midlaner Michał Nisha Jankowski has come under the spotlight following rumors about his potential departure from the competitive scene. According to reports, the 24-year-old Polish player is considering not only leaving the team but also taking a break from professional Dota 2.

At The International 2025, Team Liquid failed to live up to their status as reigning champions. The team finished in 9th-13th place, losing 1:2 to Tundra Esports and exiting the tournament. This marked Nisha’s worst result at TI and the first time he failed to reach the playoffs of the premier event.

Results at major tournaments this year

The team started the year with rather weak results, finishing 7th at FISSURE PLAYGROUND, BLAST SLAM II, and DreamLeague Season 25. At FISSURE Universe: Episode 6, the team showed a strong performance, taking 3rd place, while at Riyadh Masters 2025 they underperformed, finishing only 5th despite being considered tournament favorites. Poor results continued at DreamLeague Season 26 and BLAST SLAM III, where the team ended up in 8th and 9th place respectively.

Nevertheless, Nisha continued to show a high level of individual play, winning FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 and PGL Wallachia Season #3 and Season #4. It is also worth noting that Yankowski missed ESL One Raleigh 2025 due to visa issues.

Individual performance of the player in recent matches at TI 2025:

Nisha played a total of 5 series in the tournament and used 11 different heroes across all matches.

His best hero was Earthshaker, on which he played two games. In the match against Yakutou Brothers, his stats were KDA 12/4/9, GPM 642, and XPM 786, and he led the team in damage dealt. The same happened in the match against BOOM Esports: KDA 12/4/12, GPM 663, XPM 887, again topping the team in damage.

He also performed excellently on Puck, first crushing Nigma Galaxy with 17 kills, 1 death, and 49,000 damage dealt, and then showing strong play against the Chinese team Yakutou Brothers, finishing the map with 8 kills and only 1 death. In the match against BOOM Esports, he topped the gold earned, finishing the game with a GPM of 748 and over 40,000 gold.

His worst hero was Void Spirit, on which he played two games. In the group stage against Nigma Galaxy, his stats were KDA 3/3/11, GPM 516, and XPM 681 - this map was lost by Liquid. In the elimination series against Tundra Esports, the game was much tougher, and he ended with a KDA of 3/3/2.

Nisha also played heroes untypical for his playstyle: Lycan, Leshrac, and Shadow Fiend. All three matches were unsuccessful, with fewer than three kills per game and an average GPM around 520.

These stats indicate inconsistent performance, with variable success in different matches. In light of these recent performances, Nisha may decide to step away from the professional scene. However, there is no official confirmation from the player or the team yet.

Earlier, Cyberscore reported rumors that Team Spirit might make roster changes after their disappointing performance at The International 2025.
