LaNm has joined a project to form youth Dota 2 teams in China
Coach Zhang LaNm Zhicheng, together with investor Yang Yizhin, has launched a project to create new youth Dota 2 teams in China. As part of this program, they plan to assemble three rosters with players of different ages.
The organizers have already announced the recruitment of players and a coach for the main team, called Rising Sun. The roster is expected to be competitive on the international stage, but only esports players between the ages of 16 and 24 are eligible to join.
The second roster, Chaoyang Team, is focused on developing young players under the age of 20. This team is likely to be considered an academic roster with less ambition. The third team, Chenxi Team, is aimed to find young talent among teenagers under the age of 18.
One of the main requirements is that participants must have no connection to match fixing. The organizers also want project participants to be prepared to maintain strict discipline and be motivated to develop their skills in the game. In addition, adult players are promised full contracts.
As previously reported by CyberScore, Azure Ray announced the disbandment of its Dota 2 roster.
