Birthdays: it became known why Boxi missed PREMIER SERIES
Team Liquid coach William Blitz Lee explained that Samuel Boxi Svan missed the online tournament PREMIER SERIES to spend time away from the competitive scene:
Boxi requested time off some time ago and decided to celebrate his birthday and his girlfriend’s birthday. I think this is the first birthday in a long time that he can spend at home, so it was important to give him this break.
At the tournament, Team Liquid finished in 5-6 place, ending their run after a loss to Nigma Galaxy in the second round of the lower bracket playoffs. PARIVISION became the tournament champions without dropping a single map.

After the tournament concluded, Blitz also commented on the team’s results:
Our performance is largely explained by the fact that we treated the tournament as practice matches. We spent around two weeks without playing, and then entered the tournament after just one day of scrims. I do not want to downplay our opponents — they were more motivated and simply stronger.
The team’s next appearance will be in the closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 29, which will begin tomorrow. Their first opponent will be the CIS stack ALIS VENTURUS.
It is also worth noting that Marcel Ekki Holowienko, who stood in for the team’s starting support, will continue to play, while Boxi is expected to return only for PGL Wallachia Season 8.
PREMIER SERIES took place from 01.04.2026 to 11.04.2026 in an online format. Twelve teams competed for a $100,000 prize pool. You can follow the tournament in our report.
