History

Team Undying is a North American Dota 2 team founded in January 2021. Despite not being backed by a major organization, the team has become one of the biggest breakthroughs on the North American scene.

The first roster was announced on January 3, 2021. It included Enzo Timado Gianoli O’Connor, Jonathan Bryle De Guilla, Jonas SaberLight Wolek, David MoonMeander Tan, and Kim DuBu Do-yang.

Later, Kim Febby Yeon-min, who had previously worked with TNC Predator, joined the team as a coach.

2021

Their debut season was the most successful in the team’s history.

In the region, Team Undying regularly competed against Evil Geniuses and Quincy Crew. The team finished third in both seasons of the regional DPC League and also won the sixth and seventh seasons of the BTS Pro Series: Americas.

The season’s biggest achievement was successfully qualifying for The International 2021 through the North American qualifiers.

At the tournament itself, the team made it to the playoffs and finished their run in the first round of the lower bracket, earning over $600,000 in prize money. For a team without the backing of a major organization, this was a significant success.

After the season ended, coach Febby left the team, and soon major esports organizations began showing interest in the team.

2022–2023

In January 2022, the entire roster was signed by the American organization TSM. This five-man lineup became the foundation for the club’s future Dota 2 division.

Under their new name, the players continued to compete together and achieved a number of notable results on the Tier 1 scene.

In December 2023, TSM announced its withdrawal from Dota 2 and released the roster. After that, the players briefly returned under the Team Undying tag.

However, just a few days later, the roster was signed by Tundra Esports, effectively bringing the story of Team Undying to a close.
