Royal Never Give Up (RNG) is a Chinese esports organization founded in 2015. After its success in League of Legends, the club expanded into other disciplines and opened a Dota 2 division in September 2018.

The first roster was announced on September 13, 2018. It included Du Monet Peng, Gao Setsu Zhenxiong, Sun Srf Runfa, Tue ah fu Soon Chuan, and Adam 343 Erwann Shah bin Akhtar Hussein. Tong Mikasa Junjie, who had previously worked with Vici Gaming and LGD Gaming, joined as coach.

2018-2020

The division's early years were marked by constant roster changes. The team regularly competed in DPC tournaments and regional championships.

At various points the team included Su Flyby Lei, Su super Peng, Lu Fenrir Chao, Xue September Zhichuan, and other well-known representatives of the Chinese scene.

Despite the instability, RNG gradually improved. The standout achievement of this period was a 7th-8th place finish at The International 2019, which remains the organization's best result at the flagship event of the year.

2021-2022

At the end of 2021, the organization assembled a roster that many consider the strongest in the club's history.

Lu Somnus Yao, Yang Chalice Shenyi, and Yap Jian Wei xNova joined the team. Along with them, Daniel Ghost Chan and Hu Kaka Liangzhi represented the club. super, who had retired as a player, took over as head coach.

It was this roster that brought RNG back among China's top teams. In 2022, the squad competed at Riyadh Masters 2022 and PGL Arlington Major, and put together a strong DPC season, winning Division I Tour 3 of the China region.

The year's main event was qualifying for The International 2022. However, during the tournament the team ran into serious trouble: several players caught COVID-19 and had to compete from isolation.

Despite the difficult circumstances, RNG managed to reach the playoffs but finished 13th-16th.

After the season, the roster gradually fell apart. The organization soon suspended its Dota 2 activity and focused on other disciplines.
