B8 is a Ukrainian eSports organization founded in early 2020 by former Natus Vincere midfielder Danil Dendi Ishutin . This team holds the anti-record for the number of lost maps in a row - 24.
Initially, the first team looked like this - Cooman, Dendi, Ghostik, KingR and LeBron, but a couple days before the qualifications for ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Cooman goes to Virtus.pro, and in place of kerry comes pio65. After a disappointing performance at the open qualifiers for ESL One Los Angeles 2020, B8 received direct invitations to Arena of Blood Season 2 and WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon. The team had average results at both tournaments, finishing in 5th-6th place.
After Team Singularity disbanded, Dendi decided to replace pio65 with Xcalibur. After taking 7th-8th place at the StayHome Challenge, the "online era" began, when B8 set their own record at ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Online, Epic Prime League Season 1 and WePlay! Pushka League Season 1: Division 1 the team won just 1 match against HellRaisers. However, this match didn't solve anything, and the team was still in last place for 3 tournaments in a row. Poor results led to the departure of LeBron and Xcalibur, and the rest of the players went into temporary inactivity.
B8 announced a new roster in early June 2020. It includes Crystallis, Dendi, LastHero-, 5up and Fishman, while Ghostik and KingR finally left the team. The revamped roster had a disappointing showing at BEYOND EPIC, where B8 won just one match against Team Unique, but it allowed Dendi's team to finish in last place. At OMEGA League: Europe Divine Division, the team's results remained the same.
In January 2021 B8, TSA, RdO, SexyFat and Duster joined the team, with Astini and MeTTpuM as coaches. The team's first tournament was the ESL One CIS Online Season 1: Decider Tournament, where the top four went to the top division of the DPC and the bottom four went to the bottom division. The team lost in the playoffs to NoTechies and then EXTREMUM, and went to the lower division. B8's struggles continued here as they defeated XactJlepbI, but lost to all the other teams, finishing in last place, leading to relegation. After a 5-6th place finish at Snow Sweet Snow #2, the roster was disbanded.
The following season, DPC B8 acquired Wildcard Gaming's DPC slot in North America and revamped the roster to include StoneBank, Funn1k, MoOz, and Lodine. B8 won two series against Thiuth Gaming and ALPHA, remaining in the first division. In the second season, B8 replaced MoOz with CTOMAHEH1 and took a place in the middle of the board.
On the eve of the North American qualifiers for The International 2023, B8 upgraded their roster, replacing Funn1k with V-Tune and Lodine with Kidaro. The team lost to nouns in the final of the qualifiers and did not make it to the main event of the year.
B8 later placed 3-4 at Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes #4 and won at European Pro League Season 14. However, B8 failed to qualify for any of the major tournaments such as ESL One Kuala Lumpur, ESL One Birmingham 2024 and PGL Wallachia Season 1. Also in the first half of 2024, B8 competed in several Dota2 tier-2 tournaments, but only won prizes at the Dota2 World Invitational and European Pro League 18.
In the summer of 2024, B8 participated in the qualifications for Elite League Season 2 and Riyadh Masters 2024, but failed to reach the closed stage anywhere. After an unsuccessful performance in the qualifiers for The International 2024, the team was left by offlaner StoneBank and carry rincyq.
