VP.Prodigy is the academy project in Dota 2 of the esports organization Virtus.pro.
The first VP.Prodigy roster was formed in the spring of 2020. At that time, the academy featured Egor Nightfall Grigorenko, Dmitry DM Dorokhin, Vitaly Save- Melnik, and other players. In November, part of the roster was promoted to the main team, and in early 2021, the club assembled a new lineup that lasted for about six months. After that, the Virtus.pro academy project was put on hold.
On September 1, 2025, the academy returned to the discipline. The updated roster includes egx, Serenada, takizawa, armageddon, and JANTER. The team’s coach is Gennady GuessWho Filatov, who previously worked with Natus Vincere, Chimera Esports, and several other teams.
