History
La Correntada is a professional Dota 2 team from the USA, founded in 2024.
The first roster of La Correntada was announced in March 2024. The team includes three American players, featuring offlaner Monster, support Theyna, and position five support henry. They are joined by Uruguayan carry Rises and Peruvian midlaner Alone.
La Correntada debuted at the open qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 23. The team reached the closed stage of the qualifiers, where they lost to nouns in the second round of the lower bracket. After the competition, henry left the team, and his spot was taken by Tony. In the updated lineup, La Correntada participated in the qualifiers for PGL Wallachia Season 1, but failed to even reach the closed stage.
