History

NextUp is a Russian cybersports organization specializing in Dota 2, founded in the summer of 2023.

NextUp 's debut roster was formed in August 2023 and included the following players: Carry Kamaros, Midlaner SSS, Offlaner iseedeadpeople, Support bflstflrd and Hard Support VaniLLI. The team participated in the Sber Tournament, finishing in second place and winning 250,000 rubles.

In January 2024, NextUp revamped the roster by signing five players from dpcenjoyers. In the updated roster, 7jesu played in the first position, Mirage` played mid, Petushara played offlane, and Forcemajor and captain jesv became Supports . With this lineup, the team reached the top 6 at the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 qualifiers and participated in the DreamLeague Season 22 qualifiers without making it through the open stage.

As of January 20, 2024, Petushara moved to the role of coach and meLes was brought in for the offlane. After the lineup changes, NextUp reached the top 8 at European Pro League Season 16 and twice participated in the open qualifications for ESL One Birmingham 2024, both times being eliminated in the first round. The team also participated in the qualifications for Elite League 2024, where the squad performed better and managed to qualify for the closed qualifiers, but finished in 7th place and failed to qualify for the main part of the tournament.
