History

In November 2022, cybersports agency Tier One Entertainment Inc announced the formation of Blacklist International, an organization based in the Philippines. The first roster consisted of Polo Raven^ Fausto, Karl Karl Baldovino, Carlo Kuku Palad, Timothy Tims Randrup, and Nico eyyou Barcelona. The roster was characterized by the experience of the players: all members had been playing on the pro scene since at least 2016, having managed to change many tags. The team included former players from Fnatic, TNC Predator, BOOM Esports and other clubs.

The team made their debut at the Mansion Invitational 2023, a tier-2 tournament where they finished in 5th-6th place, losing to Talon Esports in the first round of the lower bracket. The team's first success came at the BTS Pro Series Season 14: Southeast Asia, where Blacklist International finished in 3rd place, reaching the semifinals through the top seeded playoffs.

In the spring of 2023, the roster was reshuffled: full support eyyou left the team. Offlaner Kuku took his role, and a new player Damien kpii Sau-jing Chok took the third position.

With the new lineup Blacklist International managed to get to its first tier-1 tournament: Bali Major 2023. The team showed not the best results, taking 13-14th place, not reaching the main part of the tournament, dropping out after the group stage. Blacklist International also participated in the qualification for The International 2023 in the Southeast Asia region. The squad managed to reach the grand finals, but failed to qualify for the tournament: the team finished in second place, giving up a slot at TI 12 to Team SMG.

In the fall of 2023, the roster was seriously reshuffled: Karl, kpii, and Kuku left the team. Soon the organization presented a new roster: Timothy Tims Randrup, Kim Gabbi Santos, Abed Abed Yusup, Mark Raven Fausto, Carlo Carlo Manalo. With this lineup the team managed to qualify for ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023.

At ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023, the Blacklist International team took 9-10th place - they failed to get out of the group. The squad did not do well at qualifiers, finishing 5th-6th at BB Dacha Dubai 2024 and DreamLeague Season 22, but don't forget about the victory at Asia Pacific Predator League 2024.

  • January 14, 2024 - Blacklist International defeats Execration with a score 2:0 in the grand finals to become the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 champions. There was a $65,000 cash reward for first place.

After placing 5-6 in the Closed Qualifier for DreamLeague Season 22, Raven leaves the team. As a replacement comes Palos. Together with him Blacklist International will play at the Closed Qualifier for ESL One: Birmingham 2024 - the lineup is as follows: Palos, Abed, Gabbi, TIMS, Carlo.
